Ive used Cdnow for years, never had any complaints, but now that its combined with amazon.com i have to say, Im very unhappy. Its very user unfriendly now. Ive lost all my info that i had on there, now have to recreate all my stuff.
So my question is before i do so, is are there any other online stores any of you use to order your metal cds? |

The End is awesome. Great prices, free shipping, and FAST delivery.
I've also had good luck with Century Media and Laser's Edge.

I've used Laser's Edge...good fast shipping but their prices are outta line...I wouldn't use it unless I absolutely cannot find a much-wanted CD anywhere else (as was the case with _The Dark Discovery_). |

For more mainstream choices, I use CDUniverse. Their prices are consistently lower than CDNow. I picked up the Iron Maiden and Metal Blade boxes for $56 each... |

I used CDNow for years, but frankly they are too mainstream, for specialized good metal is better
www.theendrecords.com (cheap, fast, great!)
www.hardnheavy.com (average price, fast, good)
www.moltenmetalusa.com (cheap-average, medium-fast, nice stuff)
www.sentinelsteel.com (cheap, slow, I don't like the way they work but...)
www.gemm.com: is not a seller is a compedium of sellers, through them I have contact sellers with incredible merchandise. Absolutely secure and honest. It worth a little exploration, especially for hard to find stuff. |

I just went to CDNow today. Their site blows chunks now. It hurt my brain to use it.
I'll have to check out the other sites listed here. |

It's not CDNow anymore. The page is exactly like the Amazon CD page, as a matter of fact when I connected yesterday it recognized me immediately, because of my Amazon account.
In the end I don't care, I have many others online suppliers. |
