$12 at Best Buy and the US version is NOT copy protected.
I've listened to it a couple of times at work and can already say that it is better than Brave New World, for what that is worth. It will take me a while to give an honest opinion. Right now I'm just happy to have new Maiden... |

I think I'm the only one on the board who's still undecided. |

I'm decided...that there's no way I'm buying it until I'm convinced otherwise. |

Definitely not copy protected. Not sure how much I like it, intial thought says not as much as BNW, but still very solid. |

I'm still trying to figure out why people are so hesitant to buy it...seems odd to me. I always hear guys buying CDs of bands they never even heard of on here. Why so reluctant to buy a band that's kicked ass to 15+ years?
...Oh, second listen, and it sounds better than the first like I expected. This is one of those "growing" albums! |

I don't know about anyone else, but for me, they have not come out with anything worth listening after "Seventh Son..." (I do not like anything from "No Prayer..." to "Brave..."). That's why I am not very excited about the new album. Now, if Dickinson was coming out with a solo album, I'll would have been the first one in line. |

Because everything they've put out since they got Jannick has been snooze city. (I don't blame Jannick, I blame Steve, but the arrival of Jannick and his terrible playing is a clear turning point) FOTD had some good songs, but some of their biggest clunkers ever too. The other discs weren't even that interesting...an hour or more each of uni-boredom. I don't think I liked a single song on four of the last five albums.
I'd happily see Maiden live - though I'm sure I'd be greatly dissatisfied with the setlist - but I'd easily rather get a CD from a band I've never heard of. They might surprise me. |

Overall I find it quite mediocre, definately a step or 2 below BNW. Sounds muddy as hell also they must be sharing the same budget as Nevermore. |
