By Greg Nalbandian
SW: You don't?
TR: No.SW: That's pretty amazing.
TR: It says so on the CD.SW: Is there a technique to holding the microphone with your hand?
TR: No not at all. Maybe live...Yeah, maybe live but not on the CD's. I've been doin' 'em for a long time. I've kinda built it up and it doesn't hurt anymore. The one reason it does kinda sound like effects sometimes is because they'll overlap tracks or do overdubs and stuff. But that's really about it; I don't use any kind of harmonizer or any kind of other effects at all.SW: That's amazing to me. Compliments to you.
TR: Thank you.SW: Did anyone teach you, did anyone give you tips?
TR: Oh no, no. I guess I just taught myself to sing from the diaphragm.SW: What do you most want people to understand about Cattle Decapitation?
TR: Well...I don't know. I just don't think that we are the typical death metal band. I don't think people should lump us in with typical gore or death metal bands. I think we're a little bit different than that.
