The new album, the follow-up to the self-titled debut, is going to be called Spit It Out. Also in the band is Eric's wife Inge, and new drummer Shawn Hughes (see for more).

But besides getting yer Cinderella fix through Naked Beggars music, the band indeed is hitting the road, Rock Never Stops this time including Quiet Riot, Ratt and Firehouse as rock and rolling... support. Yes: support. This is a hot summer headline tour fir Cinderella...

"We're going to start with rehearsals in about two or three weeks," says Eric. "As usual, we'll rehearse for three or four weeks prior to starting. But we're going to have quite a stage production this time out, because it's the first time we've headlined in 15 years on this scale. So we're going full pyro, video screens, all that crap. And it's full original lineup, with Fred (Coury) on drums. The Firehouse guys, I don't know them at all. It's funny, my wife Inge just went to a BMI party here in Nashville and ran into the old bass player, Gary, so I don't know what he's doing. But I don't know those guys. I know Frankie and Kevin from Quiet Riot and despite everything I've heard about Kevin DuBrow being a dick, he seems like a really nice guy. He's a little high strung (laughs), but I've run into him a few times in Vegas, where he lives; he has a radio show there. And the Ratt guys, I don't know. Who's with them these days? (laughs)."

After discussing the fact that one guy definitely not on board is Stephen Pearcy, I asked Eric about the biggest business lesson he's learned over the years. There should be a few of them. After all, this was a band with two triple platinum albums and a platinum for good measure...
