Lord (Belial) knows what he's talking about, but Glenn Danzig hints - rather strongly - that Danzig's thumping new record 777: I Luciferi, is the end of a cycle and the start of another. "Well, as far as the cycle ending, it really puts into motion something that not even the industry can f**k with. Wouldn't even know how to start with it. And I know that sounds very arcane, and it is (laughs), OK? And the people who know what's coming at them, know they deserve it and know what's about to happen. And there's nothing they can do about it. There's nothing they can do about it, because they brought it on themselves."
I don't have any idea what you're talking about.
"I do, and that's all that matters."
What is the timeframe?
"You'll see (laughs)."
And indeed, until we do see, Glenn and his darkened backline are out touring America (plus Vancouver, Canada - first time since II: Lucifuge), an exercise that is not without its dangers. "Once our bus driver was driving the bus, and he had just dropped us off at a club, and some guy slammed into him. The guy died. It destroyed our whole bus; we had to get a loaner bus for a week until they fixed it."
