What is the most impractical guitar you have, one that is just very, very hard to play?

"We've got a 1957 Flying V, one of the originals, and even with the rubber matting on the lower ledge, it's still a bit cantankerous when you're trying to balance it out (laughs). It sounds great, but it just takes a couple of extra moments to think it through."

The future looks bright for this wonderful collection, even with cheap sunglasses. "Well, the cars and the guitars are now part of a trust, and they have, because of their peculiar nature, they've earned themselves a very special spot, where they are well protected. Hopefully they will live on for awhile. The cars are... that's an interesting aspect to this whole, this notion of ganging up a bunch of stuff. The cars are just a way to get from point A to point B, but you gotta do it in style."
