KROKUS - No Risk, No Gain Page 4
by Martin Popoff

The two Vons - they still think today that Krokus is doomed without them. But we're showing them otherwise. No, the two Vons, Chris is unfortunately involved with these casting shows? That's all he does. Fern left the band, and it's really not my problem actually. I've got my own problems. I wish him luck, and that's it. I mean, what can I say?"

"I'm looking forward to it," offers Storace in closing, queried on whether the band will tour North America this time out. "You know, every bit of help from you guys helps, to bring us over, because you know, the first step is always the hardest. We have to convince people here, and they have to make budgets and all this bullshit, which has nothing to do with rock 'n' roll. So you know, when they read black on white, 'The guys should be here like tomorrow (laughs); they should be here like last week,' then it always helps, because we print that stuff out and put it on the website or whatever. It helps move people. A lot of them have no idea of what the '80s was all about. I mean, times have changed, and budgets are really small, and we're not pushing as many records as we used to. But that's normal. It happens to everybody, and we're fighting - that's what the song 'Fight On' is all about..."

It would indeed be cool if Krokus' long sticks could go boom this side of the pond once again. Like Marc is askin', let 'em know at www.krokusonline.com.
