by Madd Maxx HammerLuckily cooler heads prevailed and the Abbott boys pulled their troops out of the face of a brawl and back to the hotel. Krusher says Zakk pinned him because he became distracted during their battle of arms by an oriental beauty strolling by the action.
Krusher was heated for a couple days following the confrontation and vowed to get even. Turns out Wylde sent Krusher a dozen black roses to show his sorrow and made a heartfelt phone call to apologize for his lack of decorum. Krusher accepted and Zakk invited the band out to Black Label Society's Dallas, Texas show on June 30th. Stayed tuned...A little Black Label that night and attitudes could change.
Staying at the same hotel as Pantera was Smashing Pumpkins leader Billy Corigan. He hung with Pantera lead singer Phil Anselmo and said the Pumpkins will call it a day following some live shows covering the far corners of the world. Billy will go off and do his own thing once commitments are fulfilled.
At the third Pantera show in Tokyo, Nick Bowcott, formerly of Grim Reaper showed up. He is a righteous person. He writes guitar columns for various magazines. Nick hung out wearing a Black Label Society denom sleeveless motorcycle jacket, so he may have been in Japan doing a piece on Zakk Wylde. He hung with Pantera that night and everyone had a bit of something nice!
