And the other guys? Well, both Tony and Virgil played on (recently) ex-Yngwie Malmsteen singer Mark Boals' new solo album, Tony just finished a new CAB record with Dennis Chambers, Buddy Brunel and Brian Auger, and Tony is also working towards a follow-up to his 1986 Edge Of Insanity record. "We would very much like to have Billy Sheehan and Steve Smith on it," offers Tony. "I know Steve is very interested in doing it but Billy's time is of course a little nuts. But we would like everything to coincide so we could have the original lineup."

And then there's the third Planet X record, with writing beginning in January. "We've talked about it a little bit," offers MacAlpine. "We want to become grounded in certain areas but we want to continue exploring, because that's what it's all about for us: to not adhere to the norm. But we're not really sure. All things can happen when you get into that writing stage and into the room with the guys."
