"And we said OK, we are good team now, let's do the acoustic album, which we also did. So, in this case, we did these two tours of America, with The Purple co-headlining and also as a headliner in 2003 with Whitesnake. And we felt very strongly, now classic rock is back. So that gave us inspiration to really, besides these side-projects, which also includes Eye II Eye, we said time is over, now we go back to what we can do best - Scorpions... great guitar riffs, great songs, good hooks and great vocals. And that was the inspiration. The last two tours in America gave us a lot of inspiration. We had about 50, 60, 70 songs that we could pick from. We wanted to do a rock album in a traditional Blackout style, but with the sound of today. We were around three months in the studio, and it was really fun to come up with a rock album again. Because after all the side-projects, we were really full of power to show people that we still kick ass."
