By Martin PopoffSo if the center holds and fists remain obediently wrapped around frosty pints, look for UFO to finish up in Europe and hit the states in January. Also, keep an eye out for Phil's solo album, which contrary to our chat earlier in the year with guitarist Jeff Kollman, looks now not to be a tribute studded with guest stars. It will be a true band effort with the writing handled by Phil and Jeff, much like the last Mogg/Way album Chocolate Box.
"We're trying to finish it by the end of the year," notes Phil, perhaps forgetting his UFO touring commitments (!). "But we don't have a label lined up at the moment. We're just kind of doing it at the moment, and then waiting for no one to flock (laughs)."
