Look for Blackie and band to tour the record extensively, after which a new album will be spawned. Not just any album either.

"I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do next time," warns Blackie, "because it's mostly written already. I was writing it simultaneously as I was doing this record. Actually, I worked on it more than I worked on this record (laughs), if the truth is known. I'm in one of the more fertile periods of my career right now. I mean, I've just got stuff flying out of me like you wouldn't believe. When you hear the next album you'll understand. There's such a clear line in the sand as to what goes where. And the only temptation was to cannibalize things off of what that next record is going to be. It's going to be a story-oriented thing like The Crimson Idol. And boy, this stuff will make you cry. It's going to be one of the highlights of my career, no question about it."
