ROCKED MAGAZINE launched in 2024 to celebrate the spirit of rock and metal and spotlight the stories, icons, and imagery that keep it alive. From pinups to centerfolds, Rocked is bringing back the glory days of rock magazines with a modern edge. The magazine is designed by Michal Pellicone and built around the iconic photography and stories of Mark "Weissguy" Weiss, the legendary lensman of the 1980s rock scene. Each issue is a deep dive into rock history. "We want to grow Rocked into a quarterly print magazine that serves the rock community all year long," says Pellicone and Weiss. In order to make that happen, the pair have launched a Kickstarter campaign at kickstarter.com/projects/rockedmag/rocked-magazine.
A free exhibition celebrating OZZY OSBOURNE and BLACK SABBATH has opened in the city where "it all began", the rockstar's wife said. Very longtime HardRadio friend Sharon Osbourne opened the Working Class Hero exhibition at Birmingham's Museum and Art Gallery, which showcases items such as Osborne's Grammys and platinum discs, on Wednesday. She said: "It just wouldn't be right if [it launched] in New York or Los Angeles [because] it all began here and this is where it belongs." On July 5, music history will be made as Ozzy will take to the stage for his final ever live performance, joined by the original Black Sabbath lineup for the first and last time in two decades, in the biggest metal event of all time.
