Heavy metal mastery was released 35 years ago on September 3, 1990 - with the classic Painkiller from very longtime HardRadio friends JUDAS PRIEST. The British legends are celebrating the album anniversary with a new merchandise collection featuring a t-shirt, long-sleeved shirt, and keyring. Painkiller was Priest's first album with drummer Scott Travis and would peak at #26 on the US Billboard 200. The album has achieved gold certification in the US, Canada, and Japan. Jeff MANTAS Dunn and Anthony ABADDON Bray, iconic co-founders of the pioneering black metal band VENOM are reaching out to their loyal fans - the "Legions" - for support in a legal battle against former bandmate Conrad "Cronos" Lant. Since 2023, Mantas and Abaddon have fought to resolve securing recognition for their contributions to Venom's legendary artwork and claiming their rightful share of merchandise profits from albums they co-wrote and performed, including Welcome To Hell (1981), Black Metal (1982), At War With Satan (1984), and Possessed (1985).

Tesla bassist Brian Wheat has teamed up with original Tesla guitarist Tommy Skeoch in a new band named TERMINAL. Joining the pair in this new group are former W.A.S.P. guitarist Chris Holmes, and original Saliva singer Josey Scott. It's presently unknown who will play drums. Wheat shared the following message on September 1st, via social media: "It's good to reconnect with my old pal Tommy Skeoch we're working on a new band together called Terminal with Chris Holmes and Josey Scott from Saliva. We look forward to presenting you with our new brand of music. No, I am not leaving Tesla. I'm just starting another new band with my old friend... also look for me and Alex with Violet Breed and a lot of new exciting Tesla stuff coming up in the works."
