Very longtime HardRadio friend KING DIAMOND is one of five artists who will receive the Danish Arts Foundation's honorary grant in the autumn of 2025. The lifetime honor is awarded to the five artists as a tribute to their very special efforts and contributions to Danish art and cultural life. With his penetrating falsetto, theatrical appearance and occult narrative universe, 'King' has created a musical and visual language that is entirely his own behind some of the most outstanding works in metal history - both as the frontman of Mercyful Fate and with his own band King Diamond.
