Bajo Piura Noticias is reporting that Peruvian chef RICHARD PEREZ CUZCANI was dismissed from the prestigious Marriott Hotel in Lima after taking a photo with legendary singer AXL ROSE, whom he considers his idol since a young age. The cook had the privilege of preparing the dishes for the artist during his stay in Miraflores, but his excitement led him to break an internal rule of the hotel: collaborators are strictly forbidden to ask for photos or interact with guests beyond their work duties. Perez worked for 10 years in the hotel restaurant and, despite his impeccable track record, was fired for "breaking the rules". However, he himself admitted on social media that he has no regrets. "I was the chef of the restaurant, I took a picture with Axl Rose himself after cooking for him. Got fired yesterday for breaking that rule. What if it was worth it? It was worth it and will be worth it until my last days," he wrote on his Instagram account. The post quickly went viral, generating a wave of support and solidarity towards the chef, while many users criticize the hotel's decision for what they consider an "excessive and unfair" act.
