WDR Rockpalast has shared the video below along with the following introduction: After leaving UFO and the Scorpions, guitar virtuoso MICHAEL SCHENKER fulfilled a lifelong dream in 1979 by founding his solo project, the Michael Schenker Group (MSG). With this band, which centers on his virtuoso guitar playing, Schenker has consistently carried on the classic hard rock sound of the 1980s to this day. In 2023, the Michael Schenker Group performed at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, where WDR Rockpalast recorded their song "Assault Attack."
