THE ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME have announced its inductees for 2026. Among them are metal legends Iron Maiden and producer Rick Rubin (Slayer, The Cult, Danzig). To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released their first commercial recording 25 full years prior to the year of Induction.
ACCEPT have announced SHAWN DROVER (ex-Megadeth) will be the first special guest artist for the band's 50th Anniversary Celebrations Live. Drover will join Accept for the first three shows in May in Norway and Sweden. Accept states: "An absolute legend and beast of a drummer, we are thrilled to have him join us on stage as part of this very special and unique year. Drummer Chris Williams recently became a father and will be on parental leave when Accept begins their run of dates.
W.A.S.P. have announced ten European shows as part of the "1984 To Headless" 2026 Tour paying tribute to their first four albums. "It's hard to express the genuine excitement I'm feeling in describing the "1984 To Headless" U.S. Tour. Playing those songs from those first four albums in a combined package like this is something we've never attempted before.
