Longtime HardRadio friend ALICE COOPER is set to reissue two of his late-career highlights, Along Came A Spider (2008) and Welcome 2 My Nightmare (2011), on vinyl on July 10, 2026. This release marks a highly anticipated moment for collectors, as both albums have been out of print on vinyl for over a decade, making original pressings some of the most sought-after and expensive items in the Cooper secondary market. The new reissue of Along Came A Spider is especially noteworthy, as it will feature the original artwork not used in the original strictly limited vinyl edition from 2008. Both albums have been expanded for the new reissues. Along Came A Spider contains three bonus tracks, while Welcome 2 My Nightmare contains a whopping seven bonus tracks.
SAXON frontman and very longtime HardRadio friend Biff Byford has revealed that the band will release their 25th studio album in January, with a first single and video expected this September. About new Saxon music, Byford says: “Can’t tell you anything about that though. What we can tell you though is though, exclusive, can tell you that the album is coming out on the 22nd of January. Nobody knows that. You’re the first person. You’ll be able to order the album early September. And the first single, video and single. I think it’s going to be a 7″ vinyl as well of the single, in September.”
As previously reported DRAGONFORCE have announced ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ as their newest member and first frontwoman. Alissa made her live debut as a member of DragonForce on Saturday, May 9th, at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach, FL. In addition, frontman Marc Hudson was not on stage due to hearing loss and tinnitus issues that have increasingly affected his ability to tour. Billy Wilkins stepped in for Hudson at the show.
