In a new feature at Guitar World, Ozzy Osbourne's Blizzard Of Ozz bassist and co-writer BOB DAISLEY reflects on the time he was dismissed only to be re-hired days later, and shares his thoughts on Randy Rhoads, Jake E. Lee and Zakk Wylde. Guitar World: Ozzy had you help with songwriting again for The Ultimate Sin, but you didn't play bass. Why is that? Bob Daisley: "Jake and I put the music together in Palm Springs while Ozzy was in the Betty Ford Clinic. After we'd demoed four of the songs in London, Ozzy and I had a clash because he hadn't been turning up to rehearsals. When we had to record those four songs in just two days, he began drinking and smoking pot and wanting to change parts. I told him that he should have come to rehearsals and that it was too late to start changing things now. The next day I got the phone call - I was out. Then a couple of weeks later, he phoned and asked me to write the lyrics for the whole album. Because I'd already put so much into it, I agreed. I wrote the lyrics at home in the garden and took them to Ozzy in London." Read the full interview at guitarworld.com.

Sharon Osbourne shared her hopes for the OZZY OSBOURNE BRAND future: "Elvis died 50 years ago, and everybody knows Elvis," says Sharon. "I just want that for Ozzy." Cutting edge technology will help make that vision a reality. The family has partnered with a company called HYPERREAL to create what he calls "the digital DNA of Ozzy Osbourne, voice, image [and] movement." "The things that you can do with that are just endless," adds Sharon. "You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice - and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said," says Sharon. "We're going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back."

A new live album from late IRON MAIDEN legend PAUL DI'ANNO is on the way. The following was posted at Di'Anno's official Facebook page: "Live Before Death!!! Does the name of the new Paul Di'Anno live album sound familiar to you? Yes, and that is no coincidence. This, we can already say now, monumental album, apart from being recorded at the Stonedead Festival 2024 (UK), just two months before Paul's death, with this name, artwork and inlay design is an undoubted homage to one of the best live albums of all time Live After Death (by Iron Maiden), which this year marks the fortieth anniversary of its release."
