Swedish hard rock queens THUNDERMOTHER are back with Mothers Of Thunder out on February 5. Thundermother have previously proven to excel at just that: after opening for the legendary Scorpions and Judas Priest, playing at iconic festivals like Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, or Sweden Rock, and releasing their first live album, Live’n’Alive, in 2026, the four-piece is ready for a new era. Mothers Of Thunder is high-energy encouragement for women as well as thrilling, head-bopping fun for everyone else. Along with the announcement, Thundermother turn the genre on its head with the first single, ”Bimbo Boost.” Playing the epic riff to Deep Purple’s “Smoke On The Water” backwards, the four-piece addresses the pressure on female artists to always look perfect when going on stage — an expectation that passes by male musicians.
