BARRY BRANDY of ANGEL is battling cancer and homelessness in his senior years and facing an unimaginable challenge. After being diagnosed with Stage 3B leukemia, the fight against cancer has become even more difficult, as Barry has recently become homeless. A GoFundMe campaign at tinyurl.com/y46bnmut has been launched to raise funds that will go directly toward helping Barry pay for essential medical treatments and medications, as well as providing the means to buy a trailer, and find a stable place to park and live. Having a safe home and access to proper care will allow Barry to focus on recovery and regain some stability during this overwhelming time.

Hard rockers THE DEAD DAISIES have officially brought in legendary former Hurricane and Foreigner frontman KELLY HANSEN on lead vocals. Signalling a restart for the band, the rock collective has confirmed the upcoming release of a brand-new single alongside extensive global touring plans. Fronted by Hansen, the lineup features stellar guitar work from Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) alongside guitarist David Lowy (MINK, Red Phoenix). Rounding out the band is drummer Tommy Clufetos (Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne) and bassist Jimi Crutchley (The Quireboys).

Late Motorhead guitarist PHIL CAMPBELL died from multi-organ failure after suffering complications following multiple surgeries, a coroner has ruled. Campbell was the band's guitarist from 1984 until it disbanded in 2015, died aged 64 on March 13. The Wales-born guitarist underwent two liver transplants and bowel surgery at the Royal Free Hospital in London earlier this year. The inquest heard he had previously drunk alcohol to excess but had been sober for seven years by the time of his death.
