Anyone heard the debut album from this band? Dee Snider's band after Twisted Sister. The album was released a few years ago. I think he sounded awesome on that album. Better than he does now. I wish that band would have gotten more attention and kept it going.

As much as I like Dee Snider's work,he unfortunately can't keep a good thing going these days. He has too much of a primadonna attitude. I saw this when I ran lights for him one night a few years ago.
Widowmaker was great. I wish they would have done more than the couple of disks they put out.
Does anyone know if the Twisted Sister reunion still going? Or is that dead, too?

I liked the first Widowmaker album, but the second one, Stand By For Pain, was atrocious.

Nothing to do with Dee Snyder, But I have a Widowmaker album from back in the 70's. It has a snarling black cat on the front cover, probably because the music so bad inside! Smile

I have the debut album from the 70's band Widowmaker, featuring Huw Lloyd-Langton (Hawkwind), Ariel Bender (Mott The Hoople) and Bob Daisley (Chicken Shack/Mungo Jerry). It is quite good bluesy heavy rock, actually. Haven't heard the one with the cat on the cover.

I've never heard the Widowmaker featuring Dee Snider.

I liked Stand By For Pain better than the first one, which BTW was called Blood And Bullets.

Two different bands if memory serves. I'll have to look at the date when mine was released. I believe it was the late 70's, but maybe the early 80's.
