I just finished watching it. I thought it was great. Sound quality was good, with a few volume dips. This concert was so long ago I forgot how good it was.
Pick this up if you like Maiden. It finally captures the band as they should be seen. They all seem to be having a good time. Watch Nicko's dancing during the intro to Clansman. Jannick still needs rock stage moves 101. Each members personality is captured, something I don't ever really see in these sorts of things.
The bonus dvd was too short for me. A day in the life was cool. Nice to see what each guy does on his day off. Ross Haflin's photos and commentary are good.
I'll rate Rock in Rio at 9
comments, disagreements?

Well, I haven't had time to watch all of it yet. I like what I've seen so far. I wish the behind the scenes stuff was longer. Maybe a bit about the entire tour, not just this show.

The main problem I have is in the editing. It just cuts way too fast to get to see what is going on in many shots. I started to give me a headache...

I agree. Are their editors former 80's video makers? It slows down towards the end, or maybe I got used to it.
