Yeah I remember Zebra. My high school buddy Paul and I used to sneak into his older brothers room and go through his albums. We used to jam out to old Zebra, UFO, and Tygers of Pan Tang. The only tune that stuck in my mind was "Who's Behind The Door" it was thier only big single I think. Its a great tune but not particularly hard. I remember this song being on one of those "Masters of Metal" tapes back in the 80's with Dio, Krokus, Triumph, and Y&T on it. The new clip I heard sounds pretty tough, I know Zebra can rock out when they want to.

Zebra, now that takes me back years. They have a song called 'Tell Me What You Want', right? My cousin and I on weekends at his house would steal his old man's beers and listen to Zebra, Rush, and Sabbath and get drunk. Damn, now I have to get Zebra cds too!

I've heard of them. I heard one of their tracks on a NRR comp. I thought it was ok.

A buddy in college got me into Zebra in the late 80s. I've got their first s/t cd and the Zebra Live disc. Really great band.

I still have that tape!
I used to see Zebra live here in Louisiana a lot; not suprising since they're from New Orleans. I think they were a better live band than studio... but thats not to say I didn't like the studio releases.

The Sign - Signs of Life, is an excellent album, as well as all 3 Zebra albums.
